Where is the best place to buy groceries on St Croix? Should we buy before checking in to the Divi or wait? Are grocery stores open on Sunday there? Thanks again for all the great information.

Groceries are open on Sundays. The best all-around grocery is Plaza Extra on the West Side. It's really close to/north of the airport, so maybe stopping in after you get your rental car and before you go to Divi is an option. It is just about as far West and Divi is East, but it's on the main drag and easy to find. Anyone can direct you.
The other place, more upscale (and more expensive) is Schooner Bay Market in Gallows Bay. That's much closer to Divi, just east of Christiansted. They have a really good deli.

Definitely Schooner Bay Market Place, is the best choice. They have the best meats and produce on island. As far as prices, they are comparable to the other stores. All around better shopping experience.
