We are staying near Bolongo bay

We have a condo

How far are the grocery stores for typical food

Can I bring some of my own spices, coffee etc

First off you can bring whatever you deem absolutely necessary to your life. The Food Center is only about 8 minutes or so away from Bolongo Bay and the Marina Market in Red Hook (gourmet deli) is only a few minutes further. You will or course have a rental car I presume....you'll need it.

We certainly have spices and lots and lots of brands of coffee here, but heh, bring what you need to completely enjoy your time on island.
