Other than at Red Hook ferry dock where is there a grocery store---preferably in area BEFORE Charlotte Amalie coming from airport.

Hi ExcesslsEase,

When you leave the airport area you'll turn right at a light onto the main road toward downtown (two lanes in each direction.) You'll immediately go over a small hill, pass the Nisky center on your right (a two story complex) and the next block on your right has a Pueblo grocery store. Take it slowly and stay in the right lane so you don't miss it. You'll have to turn right after you pass the Pueblo and back track a bit to enter the parking lot. Good Luck!

Excellent! Thanks so much. I have a map of what I think is Rt30 and I see Nisky Center at jct 30 & 33 so I'll go to next block.

Another (nicer but spendier) option is Gourmet Gallery, which is located in Crown Bay Marina (a hop skip and a jump from the airport and Nisky Center). There's another location in Havensight as well, but I prefer the Crown Bay store.

Pueblo will do, but I find that a lot of the stores here are run down. GG will cost you a little more, but you'll find a good variety of nice stuff.

If you just need basics (sodas, cheap booze, chips, frozen goods, lunchmeat), Pueblo's OK. Just giving another option...

Best,

LR

LR-

There's a Gourmet Gallery in Crowm Bay Marina????? Sheeeesh...misssed that and could have stopped there on a couple of lunch quests from Emerald Beach or John Brewers Beach.

I enjoy the one in Havensight and would like to see why you prefer this location.

THANKS!

(sorry for the digression, everyone)
