My daughter was just accepted into law school and wants a trip with dear old Dad before she starts. St. John sounds good to us so gonna do it on the cheap. I'll get to go twice in one year! Last trip was August 2007 with two other daughters! Will be my 4th trip in 25 years.

Airfare = $15.00 round trip. Gotta love FF miles 🙂

Cinnamon bay bare site about $30.00 per night.

Jeep rental from Don about $65.00 per day.

Memories with my oldest kid = priceless 🙂 🙂

The bare site thing may have to be changed. I have not told her about that yet but she has camped in the Smokey Mountains, China, Costa Rica and Thailand. My hope is to write a trip report for you guys on how to do it on the cheap with kids.

I love this forum.

Ric

Good for you. It will be priceless. Kids eventually move on and the time that we took for granted is gone just like that. It's amusing that the jeep will cost twice what your accomodations will.

Make sure upon passing the bar she realizes it is a villa on top the hill 😀

On her of course!

Congrats to your daughter!

OK, Dealing with blackout days that worry me.

Will there be tent sites or bare sites available with last minute reservations in June at cinnamon bay?

I suspect there will be that time of year.

Anyone know??

June is still a very busy time of year for our villas so I would not count on it. Reserve in advance! I wouldn't take that chance!

Enjoy!!

I agree. Maybe there will, maybe there won't. Why would you take a chance?
Make your reservations now (and make the vehicle reservations now, too).

.

Because Delta sky miles have block out days that you would not believe. The only days available open at the last minute. It sucks. I should have never switched from American Airlines. I only did it as the airport was closer.

docric- check out Concordia and the other Maho campsites.
Just an idea...
Don't sweat the airlines. Get there and enjoy!
Best of luck-

So far so good. Booked today for June. Round trip to STT was $30.00 for two.

I'll stay in touch.
