Hello everyone!

I am looking for some good ideas

If you had one day (leaving in am and coming back pm) to visit another island from St. Thomas where would you go and what would you do?
Please include a good restaurant/cafe/bar in your answer - because we'il have to eat at some point.

Thank you

The obvious choice is St John. Visit some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and then stop in town at any one of many good restaurants before taking the ferry back to STT. A no-brainer!

An alternative would be going to Tortola, BVI. Check out their link;

Cane Garden Bay on the north shore has a great beach and many restaurants and bars. I've made the trip a couple of times. The last time I rented a car for the day. That made getting around so much easier and provided more freedom than relying on taxis.

Just came back from St. Thomas - the season doesn't start until November so a number of places were closed for renovations while we were there, the stores downtown were only open if a cruise ship was in, so depends on when you are going.

Been to St. Thomas 6 times...we always go to St. John for a day or two and try to see something different. Hit one or two of the beaches on north shore, and then go to Woodys for some seafood (they have a great seafood platter). You can then walk around down town before you leave. All is laid back, casual and inexpensive.
