Hello! I have a wedding planned on St. John in July with 22 friends and family. Does anyone have ideas for inexpensive gift ideas for the guests? I would like to give them something memorable from the islands. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
How about a Christmas ornament? Something that has St. Thomas and the year. A lot of the shops have beautiful hand-painted ones.
Also, another thought..a.bottle of Cruzan Rum with a nice print out sticker with your names/date and location (bring the stickers from home).
Good ideas! Thanks! Any suggestions on shops to look in?
Mongoose Juction in Cruz bay has a lot of gift stores. I am not sure if any of them have a web site (maybe someone else knows).
Every time I go many of the shops have ornaments all year long. Maybe you should buy them when you are there, rather than shipping home then brining it back. (some are very delicate)
Hello Stephanie,
You can see some of the ornaments and other gift ideas at www.vitraders.com to give you a starting point. You might also consider prints/art work.

Thank you Islander!
You could also try....
Mini rum cakes
A pair of flip-flops tied with raffia and a postcard of St. John
bush tea and a VI mug
rum balls
a tropical photo frame (could double as placecard holder)
seashell candles, or candle in coconut shell
as Islander suggested, a small print of the VIs
Virgin Islands playing cards
Cruzan mini-sampler kit
A CD of Island music (you could make this and put your pic on the cover)
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
Best,
LR
