I am amazed at how helpful everyone is. I am really looking forward to our trip.

We (2) are staying at the Wyndham this week, and I am curious. Where are the restaurants and pubs concentrated (RH, CA, Havensight)?

Does the Safari go to each? I know the Safaris stop running at 8:00. For the return to the Wyndham, which taxi service should we use, and how expensive are they?

Thanks,

James

There are restaurants all over the island which isn't really a great response but that's the way that it is! Safaris can take you to Red Hook easily but other than that it gets a little complicated. Whichever restaurants you go to, the management will call a reputable taxi service for you. Sorry not to be of more help. Ask at the concierge desk for their recommendations and I don't doubt they'll give you good information on your alternatives. Cheers and enjoy your visit!

us the safari bus to red hook. Then take a cab back. It should be in the order of 5-6 dollars.

Wyndahms Shuttle will take you and pick you up - was not too pricey.... Off the Hook in Red Hook is a great seafood resaturant!

Don't forget Duffy's, XO, Caribbean Saloon, Molly Malone's, East End Cafe to name a few more in Red Hook. You may also want to try out the Agave and Fungi's next door at the Point Pleasant Resort. Also the Wyndham has a buffet every night at the resturaunt by the pool, it's hit or miss with what they are serving for the evening but worth checking out.

To continue with Red Hook restaurants: The Cellar, Amigos, Island Time, Lotus Grill, Fat Boy's, Poet's, as well as Subway, Burrito Bay Deli and Texas Pit BBQ. So you have many places to sample right there.
