Looking for some advice here. Should we be considering renting a canopy for our beach wedding, in case of rain? Anyone have experience with this? And where the heck would I find such a thing?
The best reason to get married on the beach is for the view...I'd think a canopy would detract from the view, so I'd probably take my chances with rain. When it does rain, it's usually off and on anyway, so there's a good chance the rain would go away if you just wait a bit.
I also don't know about the rules on the national park beaches, but they might not want people putting up large canopies...I'm not sure on that though.
I agree, you don't want a canopy on the beach. I'm getting married on St Thomas in 11 days on the beach. I wouldn't worry about the rain. Even if it does rain, it passes by so quickly. You have enough stuff to plan, don't worry about the weather.
Thanks for the input! I agree about the view and not wanting to spoil it... I guess I was thinking more of having it as a back-up, but that is probably not necessary. If it rains, we'll just wait it out and hope for a rainbow!
