We were married in Feb. of 2006 and we used Stuart Scott for our officiant and Tony Simeca for our photographer. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about both. Stuart is wonderful, and Tony is a fantastic photographer. I have tons of beautiful memories and photos of our perfect day. I'd be happy to share further info about either if you want more details. You can send me a personal email to my address and I'd be delighted to share info. Jill

I got married on St. John this last November and used Anne Marie...she was great. For a photographer I used Eric Johnson from Paradise Pictures. I highly recommend him. I recieved our pictures a couple of weeks ago and they are gorgeous. I posted a trip report when I got back. Do a search for HUB in the authors search box and look for my trip report from November for more information.

Have a good time planning your wedding! I wish I'd thought to get married in the USVI, but I was a poor college student 10 years ago when we got married. 😉 I bet it will be absolutely lovely!

Just wanted to put my two cents in...Got married two and a half years ago on St. John and did all the planning myself with the help of Anne Marie Porter (who also officiated). Our photographer was Alan Brin and he was great. Our wedding was a simple one but lovely and a fantastic experience all the way around. We now go back to the island every year!

Hope that helps.

My husband and I were married on St. John in December and it was wonderful and we would do nothing different! We used Mary (www.islandstyleweddings.com) and she was great to work with. She arranged for our photographer, Soolan (www.blueglassphotography.com) who was great! We were married on Hawksnest, which turned out to be our favorite beach on the island. We had dinner at Stone Terrace- the food and staff were fantastic! We ordered our wedding cake from Baked in the Sun and it was delicious! Have fun planning and enjoy your time on St. John!!
