Hi Ccasebolt,
Looks like today is going to be even warmer, but rainy! Hope you left some "painkillers" for today!

Isn't this crazy??? I am up in the White MTS. of NH and it is 55 up here this morning? Don't miss the cold and shoveling, but I do miss the x-country ski and snowshoeing! Let's hope we don't get all of our winter in April. Darlene you are siked! My husband and I went to St. John on our 25th anniversary and loved it! I am also addicted to this site. Have no definite plans to return, but I keep reading! Check out Gibney beach also. On our last day we beach hopped, Gibney was one of our favorites and we had the beach to ourselves, except for a couple staying in one of the cottages. They were very sweet and invited our in for a tour! Wish I had the bucks to rent one of those! We were also there for ten days and I felt like it was just right. We relaxed, hiked, snorkeled, it was great! If you like hiking do the Ram's head hike, what a view!!
Enjoy!

Hi Kacot!
I love the White Mountains, very close to my heart! My Parents starting taking us there when we were little and we continue going there now. My mother has land in Whitefield, NH and we go there each summer! You might have seen my pic of me in front of the Mount Washington Hotel on my other post, "Upcoming Trip".
Yes, I am excited about my trip and this weather is just a little taste of what's coming, of course a lot warmer!!!! I can't wait! Gibney sounds great, I did hear that before, I forget where. I can't imagine having a beach pretty much to myself, what a concept! I did go to Trunk Bay on our cruise excursion and it was kind of crowded but I still loved it! Oh, yes, there were many houses I saw that I wanted to rent but the cost was more than I could afford! 🙁 Enjoy the weather! I will!

Already 71 here in Central Va and it's not quite noon yet. The only thing I hate about this weather is the trees are confused. I have a Cleveland Pear tree that's trying to bloom and a miniature Rhodie that is in bloom. But on the selfish side, I hope it stays like this til April and then we go straight to summer!

I'm not sure what it's like in Boston right now, but here in Detroit it's 12º with a wind-chill of -5º. We're expecting between 8-12" of snow tonight.

We're leaving for STT next Thursday. Less than nine days and counting...

Sounds as if it got warmer up north than here in WV. We had freezing rain this morning, school cancelled, and will get some more snow on top of freezing rain tonight. BUT, I dont mind any of this. Its winter! its supposed to be cold. When we don't get enough cold weather, too many people sick, and too many bugs in the summer! I kinda like driving in the snow, myself. call me weird.

65 days 'tl wheels up!

Schools are closed today - everything is ice and snow covered. 71 doesn't sound too bad right now.

I feel your pain Blu, here in Reading Pa its snowing/sleeting, you name it we got it. But it does give me a day off from work, so I"m not complaining. In less than a month we'll be on our way to St thomas and this will all be a distant memory
