With the out-of-control gas prices here, I'm wondering how that's affected prices in the USVI. Anyone have an up to date report on how high gas prices have risen there?
$3.13 the other day when I filled up. Our prices don't tend to skyrocket when yours do, although we on ST Thomas don't get the low prices you get either, and by low I mean under $2.50. We dip to $2.80 on occasion but nothing lower than that lately. STX on the other hand has much lower rates, I think last time I was other there about 2 months ago it was like $2.15 or so.
Actually I ust peeked out of my office window and the Esso in Tutu at this very moment looks like, my eyesight is fading, is $3.30 for reg and $3.50 for super. Although the Domino stations usually have cheaper prices by about 10-12 cents a gallon.
The Domino by the airport is the best place to fill up your rental car. CASH ONLY at Domino though.
Domino in Frydenhoj was $3.10 this morning. But that is full service. Well, at least they pump it!
Prices on STX right now are about 2.50 per gallon give or take a penny or two.
Try 2.98 for regular in the states and 3.98 for Super..... Wishing I was in the islands for more than the cheaper Gas!
