Been coming down to STT anually for the last 4 years and have never had success finding a good outfit for deep sea fishing. Have pretty much given up. Just found this forum and thought I'd give it one more try.
Will be down mid May, what's biting at that time? Who would you recommend if it's prime time? I would like to catch something besides barracudas!

Berry's charters at Hull Bay. Contact the bar 340.777.1898 and ask for Jerry or Laura Berry.

DoubleHeader is my choice...NEVER EVER came back without a good haul! Book it for a half-day, afternoon...you WILL have fish to cook for dinner!

I see Double Header catching fish every day and have been aboard myself -- they do a great job - the boats are kept at Sapphire Marina but they do pickups at other places.

Double header is probably the most popular/successful charter day fishing boat on STT while Gone Ketchin and World Class Anglers are your best bets for STJ. Either boat can pick you up on either island. When we go out for fun (as a local) we have chartered Gone Ketchin and World Class.

And as for May, that is prime Mahi time.
