Hello all!
I am looking to reserve a Gallows Point Oceanview upper suite for July 2004 (part of honeymoon package). The available suites are as follows (by building): 4,6,7,9, and 15.
Things I want to consider are- view, noise, and isolation (from other suites). To me, it appears that #15 is favored, thus far. Does anyone have input on this, or personal experiences as to which of these suites is... sweet ? Thanks in advance!

Oh also, does anyone have an estimate on the cost of an all-day dingy rental?

Hello Springer,

I don't know off the top of my head the Gallows units by number. But a year ago we stayed just a little ways up the hill from Gallows Point, so I can speak to one issue you raise, which is noise. I'd recommend choosing one of their units that is not on the side closest to town. In town are several bars/restaurants that (at least last year; this may have changed) had loud live music 4-5 nights a week. While the music in many cases was fine, it was, well, loud and somewhat annoying when we wanted to crash for the evening. As I say, we were just up the hill so I think some of the Gallows units closer to town would have experienced the same thing.

This wasn't a major problem for us, but it was kind of annoying to have to shut windows and close the BR door and use the AC to drown out the sound of a blues electric guitar!

Good luck and enjoy your visit !!

Dave

Thanks alot Dave, I appreciate the input...
I have actually booked the number 15 unit which is on the point, directly by the "Gallows Point" sign and the pool. I'm sure it'll be grrreat! I can't wait to be right there and soon!
Thanks Again.......
