Planning a trip over Christmas with our girls 9 and 19 yrs. Any reason our 9 yr old would not like Gallows? Any reason Gallows would not want our 9 yr old?? Not sure which way that goes as far as Gallows not "recommending" children under 12. Any ideas??

Gallows is a beautiful place to stay in a great location walking distance to town. It has a small pool, sun deck and great snorkeling in front. Other then that, if you are looking for a place with more "kid activities" then the Westin is your better place. Gallows does not "recommend" children under five.

Izzy - Gallows does not allow children under 5 - period, and does not recommend children under 12. I think this is because it is more of a relaxed adult "resort" and children running around, jumping/screaming in the pool etc is not what Gallows is about (I'm not saying all children are like this before anyone picks on me 🙂 ) and they do not plan any kind of childrens program to keep them entertained.
