Ok, seems like a silly topic but we will be down in June for my son''s wedding and our vow renewal for our 25th. While my son in using a florist, I would just like fresh cut flowers and the florist seems quite pricey for what I want. Do the "grocery "stores sell flowers like they do here in the states? Plus I wanted to lay some on the beach for our ceremony as well. Any suggestions? Are there any flower market type places in town that aren't actually florist shops? The person we are in contact withdown there said there was only one florist in town and I know that's not true from what i've seen on the web.

Grocery stores don't sell flowers here. For the most part, flowers must be flown in and are priced accordingly.

I know the ones I go to sell flowers. That's Food Center and Gourmet Gallery in STT.

I'm familiar with Today's Flowers, a florist in downtown Cruz Bay, across from Meada's Plaza. Surprisingly good, given you're on an island. Very good, creative, and so forth. Phone is 693-8015.

The phone book also lists Passion Flower on Gifft Hill, but for the life of me I don't know them. The phone is 877-779-4587.
