I will be in St John next month. I can't wait. My family, and mostly me, are excited for this trip. We are camping, and plan to buy most of our food. Are there fishermen that sell fresh catches? What types of fish do they sell? I saw the posting about lobsters. Are lobsters available for sale? They must be different than Maine lobsters. Any recomendations to any seafood markets on St John?

Hey Maineboy...Don't hurt your eyes looking for the claws! Carribean's don't have 'em!

The tails are the best.

No the "shedders" you guys are eating about right now aree the best! I actually saw a guy from Boston accusing the kitchen staff of stealing the claws of his Caribean lobster in Cruz Bay. These are really quite good, you'll like them.
