Frernchtown is no problem. Plenty of restaurants and bars. No shopping though, unless you want to buy fish and lobster!

Frenchtown has several great restaurants (Alexanders, Epernay, Tuscany Grill, Craig and Sallys.... and others. There is a nighclub above Epernay. They are more or less in walking distance from each other and from the parking area - well lit and safe.

No shopping. Daytime there is a a couple pizza, sandwhich, coffee spots that are good as well.

There is also a new restaurant, Noche, which supposedly has excellent tapas and vibe.

Noche has been the subject of many a controversy. It is nonsmokimg, which is okay by me, but there is still a question as to whether they allow kids in the restaurant! I have heard that the food is good and I have heard it's not so good. I am waiting until I hear 10 goods before I go. So far I have heard about 20 bads and 4 goods! They really did a great job in the renovation, I did step in for a drink one night, it's really a nice place!
