Hello Ivy,

Could you give a little more detail on what you need; What type of buildings? And what do you need to know about them?

In the past the French community was known for making handicrafts from straw like mats, hats etc. Some of the older people still know how and still make such items but its not something the younger generations have kept up. Is this what you are looking for?

I'm probably too late with this, but there's the Frenchtown Heritage Museum in Frenchtown. Also, much of the architecture in town has that French influence like New Orleans - the balconies, the filigreed iron work, etc. The only French products I can think of are perfumes.
