OK, I'm sort of bumping this back up as it got lost- does anyone know if Fred's still does music and will have a band by late November this year? The band was still away last early November so we're actually planning our return trip around the hope that they'll be back and we can boogy a little some evening. Otherwise, any comments on the quality/atmosphere of dancing at one of the hotel lounges would be much appreciated. I have my dancin' flip flops ready to go!

Fred's had live music on the Thursday we were there (6/22). Not sure how often and not at all sure about November.

Thanks, last year they went off for a few weeks I think and weren't back by early November. We'll keep our fingers and dancin' feet crossed.

Island Blues over in Coral Bay has live music all the time. Definitely check them out!

Island Blues? Is that in the open air plaza? I can't remember the name of the place we saw alot in November but it didn't seem like anyone was dancing- maybe I missed part of this place? It was the place with the bar outside in a circle. Or is it the bar/restaurant across the street? We went there alot but there was no dancing music when we happened to be there, just alot of guitar strumming I think. Sounds like more research is needed...

Hey Karrieb,
Island Blues is opposite (almost) Aqua Bistro - which is the place with the circle bar. Island Blues is on the water and has kareoke (sp) twice per week, usually, and sometimes people will dance if they are toasted enough 🙂 but it's not a "dancing" place, as you think of a dancing place to be - and no you didn't miss part of it 🙂 Don't know if Fred's will have music or not when you guy's are here.
ps: did get your email - I'll respond later - you know puppies 🙂
