If anyone is on the island and interested in joining - - my hubby, 2 kids (9 yo girl and 10 yo boy) will be at the Beach Bar in STJ on Sunday early evening (4:30 - 5:00) July 1st to hear some great jazz! I have a few others from the "other" VI forum joining as well. It would be fun! I'll be the one with the painkiller in my hand and the smile on my face (oops, I guess not a great descriptor!). I *think* I was kind of planning to be on STJ that Sunday....so that just might work for us. Maybe we can get Ruth to join us for a cocktail.
Took the girls to get their snorkel gear and boat vests on Friday night. Gearing up over here! Excitement must be mounting in your home, too.

Would love to but we are not on island until July 14. Of course, if you are still there by then we will see you at the bar on the 15th :).

I think I'm somewhat in denial that the trip is a little over 2 wks away! We have swim shoes but aren't planning on buying snorkel gear. Our kids aren't very good at it, so I'm hoping to get them a lesson at Coki (funny how they are willing to learn better from a complete stranger than a parent 🙂 Also trying to keep the luggage as light as possible! Passports came last week (although I know we didn't need them) - - their birth certificates went with the application which is why I was so nervous.
There doesn't seem to be a great deal of travelers to the VI when we're there. Which is good, I guess? More rum for us!!
Ok ok ok, now dont ya all know the party cant start til I get there LMAO July 12-21. Chris looks like its just my gang and urs LOL..
