I'm getting married in St. Thomas in April and was looking for a formal restaurant to go to on our wedding night. Something romantic (a place with dancing available too would be a plus but not necessary). I bought a spectacular dress for the occasion and wanted to find somewhere formal where it would be appropriate. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, Torie

Not sure what kind of food you like, but I really enjoyed Agave Terrace (www.agaveterrace.com) and Noche (in Frenchtown) when I visited them.
I hear that the Old Stone Farmhouse is good, as well.
Congrats on your wedding!

Hello Torie,

Banana Tree Grill has been consistent for years in terms of being a favorite of mine, you can be very dressy to island casual there, tell them its a special night and request a window view/seating. Herves is also a nice choice - again try for window seating although they market on every seat having a great view. The Great Bay Grill at the Ritz Carlton - again try for window seating; your formal attire would be quite appropriate there. You could walk around the pool area at Bluebeards - Banana Tree's location and the Ritz Resort after dinner and talk, dance under the moonlight to your own music :-), enjoy the moment. Herves doesn't offer a walkable area around the restaurant. None of these have dancing or music usually, they might have someone playing piano but you have to ask if this is the case as its not the norm.
