I just reserved my 4wd vehicle from Pen's or Penn's for June.
All they asked for was my name and home phone. I thought this was alittle strange that they didn't require a credit card to reserve. Has anyone reserved their vehicle this way, and was it waiting for you when you got there? By the way, can you tell me where abouts this rental company is located?

A lot of people are uncomfortable with how they do business. They work on honor and trust and most of us aren't used to that. They're nice people and their word is good.

They're located across from the Lumberyard.

yes, honor and trust is unheard of - but thanks for letting me know. I was just afraid that when we got there that they could give away the reservation and then there isn't anything you could do about it.

They're trusting that you're actually going to show up. Otherwise they're stuck with a vehicle that they could have rented to someone else.

They are great people to work with - and that is just the way they do business - on the honor system 🙂 Don't worry they will have a car for you.

I also love working with Penn's...
The last time we rented from them we arrived on Good Friday....the jeep was parked in their lot with our name in windshield. We actually had the jeep for 4 day before even being able to get into their office to give them our credit card number, due to it being the long holiday weekend. It realy is refreshing to feel trusted as a consumer:)
