I will be visiting the VI at the end of March beginning of April and I was wondering what kinds of sea creatures can be caught in the waters off of St. Thomas and Water Island. I am a very strong swimmer and love snorkeling. I also love to cook and would love to find a free meal. I've read some web articles about spiny lobster.

Would it be possible to catch lobsters snorkeling or do you need to scuba?

What edible fish are plentiful there and what bait should be used?

Does anyone have any good conch recipes?
