Have no experience but I'm sure Julie will help. Just remember there is no fishing at Trunk or Jumbie and no fishing within any swim areas on any other National Park Beach (so basically no standing on the beach and fishing anywhere) Most people I see stand in the flats at Leinster Bay.

This site has a good fishing section that has quite a bit of info. Like Pia said, you can fish from just about any beach as long as you stay out of the marked swimming areas. I mostly putz around, not too serious, but I do like to fish. Haven't been much lately (I have a new baby 🙂 ). Not sure what kind of info you are looking for...but I will try and help!

Any more info on fishing from shore? I was thinking of staying at cinnamon bay for a couple weeks and thought it would be convenient for dinner 🙂 Not sure what to expect and I remember from my last visit a few years ago food isn't cheap.

Well remember you can't really fish unless you are out of the swim area at Cinnamon so past the first buoy marker. Also make sure you know what you can and can't eat - you don't want to catch ciguatera 🙁 http://www.cdc.gov/nceh/ciguatera/
