hey! does anyone know of a reliable place/charter to go fishing? We spent $600 for my dad and myself to go flyfishing today and it was horrible. The guy hardly let us touch a fishing pole. Didn't want us baiting bc we'd kill the bait? The whole point was to learn. We sat on our asses all day in the boat and didn't do anything and didn't catch anything. Weather was not the guide's fault... but his attitude was.
Nonetheless... any ideas? Need a day fishing trip for 2-3 people.
I don't know who you went out with but DoubleHeader and Abigail III both run out of the Sapphire marina and have excellent reputations.
You can check with Neptune Fishing @ American Yacht Harbour to see if they have any recommendations if the boats STT Resident mentioned are busy. Black Pearl also has an excellent reputation for deep sea sport fishing.
You can always try this guy for fishing if you don't want to go deep sea fishing. I've heard good things about his tours. Check it out.

Spend a leisurely day on the SEA WEASEL, snorkeling wherever you want. Most of the time, you won't see another person. Explore 17th century plantation ruins and 18th century historic forts - bask in the sun on secluded beaches, collect seashells, eat coconuts.
