We have been trying to make reservations at Fishbone Cottage in Fish Bay with no response to direct inquiry through their website and voice mail on Cindy Rutnik's cell phone. It's been over a week. Does anyone know if Cindy still manages this property?

Thanks for any help.

Hello Beeker. I have been watching your post for a reply. I am also curious. In 2007 I tried to contact Fishbone through VRBO and got a very late dubious response. It was not from someone named Ruth. I decided to steer clear. I liked the way it looked on the ad and the price but did not want to spend all my time up to my vacation worrying about my rental. Let us know if you get a response and especially let us know how you liked the villa if you stay there.

I don't know who Ruth is but we dealt with the owner's representative Cindy last year.

Cindy lives on St. John and is very nice to deal with. It took 4-5 days for my voice mail to show up on her cell phone but I did hear back yesterday. So we booked Fishbone again and can''t wait to return to St. John. CIndy meets you at the ferry, takes you to your rental car, leads you to the grocery store if you desire and then leads you to the house.

On VRBO, they list two phone numbers for her. I believe the first is her landline and the second is her cell phone. If you are interested - don't use the email address on Fishbone's own website - it's now incorrect. Call Cindy and she will get back to you with updated contact information.

We really liked Fishbone when we stayed there last year. It looks like what you see in the pictures - not fancy but we loved it. And the view is incredible.
