Am I correct to presume there are places on STT where you can buy fresh fish like right at the dock? There is a fishing industry of sorts so there should be some fish mongers. Where would I find them and can you save a few pennies buying from them?

Yep. There are usually people right in Frenchtown, in the a.m. at the corner of the stadium, at the corner to Coki and by KFC in Tutu. I usually go to Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina right after dark and wait for the DoubleHeader to come in. While the captain filets the first 20 lbs for the paying charterers, I pop in and buy whatever I need, superfresh....and cheap, too. Usually lots of tuna, wahoo and dolphin (mahi mahi) to choose from.

How about St. John. Any place to get fresh fish right off the boat?
