I am going to St. Thomas next week (Feb 9-14) with my mother and sister. We are staying at the Antilles, I think on Sapphire Beach. I know absolutely NOTHING about the island! Any ideas for good restaurants and any other suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Go to Coki Beach and snorkel. Swim at Magen's Bay. Eat at Blue Moon Cafe and swim and snorkel at Secret Harbor. Go take the tram on Wednesday from 5-7 when it is free and watch the beautiful sunset. Enjoy Sapphire Beach. Go to St. John one day and spend time at Cinnamon or Hawksnest then walk around Cruz Bay. And most of all have fun, relax and enjoy the beauty.

If you like silver jewlery go to the "Vendor's Plaza" downtown and ask for Caribbean Cowgirl. I used to work for them (they have three stands in the plaza). They definitely have the best prices.

Eat at the mobile vendors. Great chicken and rice--looks weird but is fabulous.

Go to the dive shop that links to the aquarium at Coki Beach and ask for Mic or Moe to take you diving or snorkeling. Tell them Amber (Eggplant's friend) sent you. They were my neighbors when I lived there.

Horrible food at Hard Rock. And don't get your hair braided. It destroys it and your scalp gets burned.

Avoid perfume and hairspray or the mosquito will be stalking you. Take a little Tea Tree Oil with you and dab it under you hair line in the back. It will help keep them away.

Definitely Eat at the Grateful Deli and Molly Malones in Red Hook

Hope this helps....Have a great time

Oh my! Horrible food at the Hard Rock???

I don't know about all of their food, but in my opinion for a great burger the Hardrock...well...rocked. 🙂 Pretty good Hurricanes too...heh.

Great burger? Try Shipwreck's landing over by Havensight.
