I, too, will be staying on ST. Thomas over July 4 and thought the fireworks on St. John would be fun.

How crowded is it? If we took the passenger ferry (and left the rental car on STT), would we be within walking distance of the dock for a good place to watch? Will it be a total zoo getting back to STT afterwards? Are they visible from STT? Thanks!

There will be extra ferries running. They arrive in the very area the fireworks occur. Lots of St Thomians go over for Festival fun and the fireworks, so you will be in good company! 😉 Yes, they are visible from St Thomas, but more fun being up close and personal.

BTW, I did change my "sign in name" on this board.
