Can anyone point me to some good fine art galleries on St. Thomas and St. John? We are familiar with a few on St. John. We're interested in oil or acrylic next trip.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Neysa
Mango Tango and the former Blue Turtle (Caribbean House or Gallery, I think) are the two that come to mind! Mango Tango is up Raphune Hill at Al Cohen's Mall- you can also buy some Whim Museum reproduction furniture...The other is on Garden Street, near Herve's downtown...
Hello Neysa,
You might visit Artist Association of St. John web site
http://www.stjohnarts.org/st-john-artists2/directory.htm
They have a directory with the artist names and links to their web sites if available - you can look at what they offer and then look for them once on island.

If you venture out to coraL bay on st john, there is my gallery "syzygy" . It's behind skinny legs....Paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and mosaic art...all by local artist...
the artists association is a good place ro look as well. In cruz bay, mongoose junction there is Bajo el sol.... I believe they gave a website
www.bajoelsol.com
and mine www.mosaicmadness.com
There is also Jonna White on Main Street as well as the Camille Pissaro galery across the street from that and several Mapes Monde locations in both St. Thomas and St. John. Don't forget Karen Samuels' place in St. John either.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
