Never been to either, but cruise ship ports in Charlotte Amalie from 8am to 5pm. I'm thinking of taking the ferry over to St Johns because I heard it is beautiful..but will I miss much in St. Thomas? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!
Plenty to do on Stt. St. John (no"S") is great, but you might wanna stick to STT for your first trip. After you have seen all in STT (which will take up 3 or 4 cruises) , then on the next trip, go to STJ. JMHO.
Perhaps if you tell us what it is you like about the Caribbean then we can recommend which island will meet your interests. Each island has its own unique attributes.
Take the ferry to St. John. It is more than beautiful.
