how often do the ferries run to Jost Van Dyke on new year eve. what other way could a person get over and to Jost Van Dyke for the new year party
Ouch, that's a tough one! I have been 6 out of the last 8 years, and I have never used a ferry. The reason? Most of them are booked a year in advance and they don't give me enough time on Jost. I have gone by private boat and by charter, but never a ferry. Which island will you be leaving from? That will help determine how we recommend your itinerary.
We will be staying on STJ.
Would you share the names of the charter services you have used?
I went on Jimmy Loveland's boat "Spirit" and had a great time. http://www.treasureislecruises.com/index.html And have used "See & Ski a couple times http://www.seeski.com/
Not sure what the ideal from STJ would be. Maybe ferry over to STT from STJ to board? Maybe they might pick you up? Worth a look.
How long is the ride from STT to Jost
Approximately 1/2 an hour with S&S, about 2 hours sailing from sanctuary.
