Probably a crazy question here - but, here goes.

We are planning to take the ferry from St. John to Jost Van Dyke on either Saturday, April 22 or Sunday, April 23rd.

We are hoping to see the infamous Foxy at Foxy's (& also hope to take in the Bubbly Pool & will definitely have a painkiller or two at Soggy's & enjoy White Bay).

But, again we are hoping to run into Foxy.

Does anyone have any experience with taking the Ferry over to Jost from St. John on either Sat or Sunday?

And does anyone know what day might be a better bet for us?

We know that past history doesn't always indicate a true pattern - but, just thought that we would throw the question out there!

Thanx!

InterIsland runs a Jost ferry - although I don't know the schedule - from STJ. They have a small trailer, and if you ask for directions it is fairly easy to find - it's on the side by the BIG Customs building, with Parks & Recreation, not the small place where you check back in. Their # is 340-776-6597 or 6282 (that's straight off their ticket)

As far as spotting Foxy - no idea :)...the only place I have seen him is at Mighty WHitey's wedding 'reception' at Magen's Bay

I vote for Sunday to Jost. Reason: Saturday night would be a good night to go out on STJ. I probably wouldn't feel like going out after a long day on Jost and a ferry trip home.

Then again, I probably wouldn't feel like going to Jost after a Saturday night out on STJ...choose your poison.

Did I help? Guess not 🙁

Last time I took the ferry to Jost, it left Jost at 330. THey have very limited departure times - and early AM is one of them, if you want to spend the majority of the day there.

Food for thought - and how to plan partying properly 😉

(and yes, I am going back to bed...this 130 am is tough on an old girl!)
