*Hi,

My flight arrives at 3:09pm to St. Thomas. Do you think it is possible for me to make the 4:00pm ferry at Charlotte Amelie to St. John or is it most likely I will catch the 5:30pm?

I am not sure how close things are and how easy it will be to get to the ferry from the airport. Thanks for your help! Clara

I would not count on it! Your flight will most likely not arrive at the gate until 3:30. If you do not have checked baggage you may be able to make it. However, if you do that will decrease your chances.
Claiming your baggage can take a very long time!

clara,

island time requires flexibility. ca ferry departs a short drive from airport, but still need for flt to be on time and fast bag retrival to catch 4 oclock ferry. check time when ready to leave airport and ask cab driver if can get to 4 o'clock ca and if not go on to red hook for 5 oclock there. it'll get you to cruz bay long before 5:3o ca ferry.

total cost about same, cab more to red hook but ferry is cheaper. if you are to enjoy your stay to fullest, start out without worrying about time tables by having alternate plans!

have fun.

How far is it from the airport to the Red Hook ferry? We'll be arriving 5/13 around 1:15pm.

Thanks.

About 45 minutes from Airport to Red Hook depending on traffic.

Thank you. Are reservations necessary for the car ferry?
