Any information on the ferry from STJ to JVD? I saw the link under the ferry schedules at the top but it didn't open anything for me. Anyone know if it will be running in Nov, times, etc?

Also, is the ferry from Chalotte Amalie to Cruz Bay operating on the schedule given above (Ferry Schedules) in Nov. I think I would prefer the longer ferry ride than the longer cab ride to Red Hook.

Thanks

I'm sure someone could give you more specific info, but I think the STJ to JVD ferry only runs on weekends. Otherwise you have to go to West End Tortola first, then JVD.

I'm not sure how regularly the downtown ferry to Cruz Bay is right now, but I was there in July and it was on schedule...

Other option is a water taxi. www.dolphinshuttle.com operates out of STJ and does regular service to JVD.

I'm sorry, but what does JVD stand for?

Thanks,
Doug

Jost Van Dyke, one of the BVI, pretty much due north of St John. A small island but I have heard it has some great beaches.
