I really need some leads on someone that could put up 1 roll of goat wire fencing on my lot. I would like to schedule the work for mid August if possible.

You probably want to post this on the relocation forum (link in the top right corner).

Unless, of course, you are offering a 7 nt stay in your home, with a sunset view and a pool...in exchange for this goat wire fencing. In that case, there are 6 of us on this forum who could come down anytime and erect the best goat wire fence you've ever seen!! This is the vacation forum....

Take Care.

"Goat wire fencing?"

Your question is and of itself, sorry, but a bit hilarious. You didn't say which island but presume you purchased a building lot somewhere either on STT, STJ, STX or maybe even Water Island and there are goats running rampant which you want to be run of?

Goats have little problems where fences are concerned. They can leap. Basic chicken wire fence (available at Home Depot() will deter them but they're pretty adept at finding ways through fencing. (2) Sometimes a horned male gets his horns stuck in in man-made fence. Go figure!

Blu, you' re right, thiu is not only a weird question but shoud be adressed on the relocaiion forum.

They do make a certain type of fence called goat fence. It is legit. Some call it hog wire.

Husband and Brother put up an enclosure for goats around our area. They used posts and wire and the goats are doing fine. Only problem is, when they were doing it, the goats were there and were constantly jumping on their backs. Funny at first, but after awhile, they could of killed them....lol
