Any new places on St. John? Good food and reasonable prices?

Not new, but Rhumb Lines, High Tide, both very reasonably priced. Rhumb Lines food is exceptional.

I agree with ADavis . . . give Happy Fish a try. IMHO, it's the best sushi in the VI.

La Plancha (closed Sunday, open for Lunch Mon-Fri) is very good, one of my new favorites! I also go to Happy Fish a lot. They are both on the second level of the Marketplace (park in the back lot). The G Spot at Larry's is very good and cheap! They are in Larry's Landing, between the front and back bar. Haven't been to Cactus on the Blue as of yet... I've heard mixed reviews. Another place, not new, but a little off the beaten track, is Forward to Your Roots (open noon through late afternoon I believe Mon-Sat). It's an Ital (vegetarian) place near the basketball courts. Make the right turn before the courts (near E&C Gas) and it is just down a bit on the right. I'm not vegetarian, but I LOVE the food there! The lentil balls...ooooo...I could eat a dozen of them! There is also the Tourist Trap, out in Coral Bay, way out by Concordia. They have been getting terrific reviews, so give them a try if you are out that way (closed Sunday and Monday).
