Bluwater, how do you put a picture on a post like you have done for your trip reports?
I really like it when there are pictures included in trip reports. It helps to keep my interest to keep reading them.

Anyway, I thought it would be cool if people posted their favorite pictures from the USVI's. I took some, which I don't think are as good as I will get on my next trip, but I do have a favorite one.

If everyone just posted 1 picture, it wouldn't get too out of hand would it?

Bluwater, you can start and let us know how we do it!''

KathleenB,
I use a Nikon CoolPix 3100 with a Fantasea underwater case. I did use a Macro setting for those worm shots, they are tough to get. Christmas tree worms are like featherdusters, the slightest little thing can startle them back into their tubes. The underwater shots in the 2006 album were taken in Kiddle Bay on the south shore, the underwater shots in the 2005 album were taken at various dive sites to the south or south east of the Coral Bay area. My favorite snorkle spots are Little Lameshur, Kiddle and Saltpond Bays, all on the south shores accessed from the Coral Bay area. As for the color I did use my editing program to correct the colors and contrast so the pics are more vivid and not bluewashed

Hey On Island Time,

You posted a beautiful picture of the view from Bluebeard's Beach Club. I thought I'd share my very favorite view from that same beach.

May I post another? I don't know why, but this photo still makes me smile. It was taken on the ferry from STJ to Tortola. Enjoy!

CG
I like zooming in to see the villa location although the areas are getting more crowded every year.

I can stare at that photo for hours and never get bored! I have a sticker on the glass over the poster that points out where our villa is waiting for us! 🙂
