What is your favorite drink on the island? What's in it (if you know)? And who makes the best one?

Favorite is the White Empress cocktail made at Salud Bistro on St. Croix. I don't know what's all in it - it's an original Jesse Card concoction - shaken, not stirred..

Second favorite - on any island. Cruzan Citrus and T'ing (or, if I can't find T'ing, then Cruzan Citrus with Diet Sprite with some fresh grapefuit, lemon and lime muddled in).

SO MANY DRINKS, SO LITTLE TIME!!!!
Aside from the natural routine of Bloody Marys w/ "Another Bloody Day In Paradise" juice, Mimosa's are a big favorite at the villa.
My "must have" is Woody's Painkiller on STJ.
I LOVE making our own Painkillers at the hacienda with Pusser's, too. Ultra- Yummo.
Also love a jug full of Cruzan Blackberry Rum with Lemonade & lots of ice , to be enjoyed from the villa rental patio ,to the beach & back.
Rum filled smoothies at Columbo's on the way to/from Coral Bay are also unbelievably delicious...
I might be stuck in my own paradigms, but everything just seems to tast so delicious there.
I love it.
Smiles-
MJ

I also love mojitos, but found them terrible on St. Thomas...mo muddling of the mint, just a leaf or two stuck in for garnish. The exception was at Wikked in Yacht Haven, now THEY did it right!

The island drink has to be voodoo juice made with Cruzan Rum.
1 oz each orange rum, banana rum, pineapple rum and coconut rum
1.5 oz cranberry, orange and pineapple juice
.5 oz dark rum

Cruzan had a voodoo juice booth at the Rolex Regatta when we hosted the committee ship on our catamaran a few years back.

im guessing that's 1.5oz each of the juice, or is that just really strong....sounds good to me!

Poohwear, Did you ever try the Mojitos as North Side Bistro? She also has a killer orange mojito! Hats off to Wikked also!

It's as much to do with the atmosphere as much as the drink. Although my painkillers are legend back here they pale in comparison when drinking to any view on the islands.
While on STJ
Cranberry lemonade at Skinnys
Rum Runner at Beach Bar during sunset (have a designated driver)
Anything at Woody's

One year while taking a short break from alcohol, I mixed Ponche Kuba and Vita Malt (classic). Shook it up in a cup of ice. Nice, smooth drink. Several people tasted it and would ask me to make it for them. Didn't have a name for it and had to come up with a price.

Definetly a Pain Killer at Woody's. Can't beat the happy hour and fun to walk around town with drink in hand.
