What is your favorite drink on the island? What's in it (if you know)? And who makes the best one?

Coconut Swizzler at Skinny's. Equal parts coconut rum, 7, Club soda and a splash of Rose's lime. Not too sweet, just enough, and cool and refreshing!

It makes it fun to read them and see how many we can try when we go.

If you are asking what the most popular drinks are : IMO
Rum and coke
Heineken
Vodka Cran
Gin and coconut water
Cognac and coke
white wine spritzer
Baileys and coffee

Specialty drinks with umbrellas and/or blended are tasty and popular with the tourists but [except for Painkillers and Bushwackers] each bar usually has their own creation.

Sorry folks, but the famous Bushwacker is the number 1 island drink! All others can be bought elsewhere...only the VI has a standard Bushwacker!

Coconut Rum
Kaluah
Vodka
Ammoretto
Bailey's Irish Cream
(all equal parts - blended with ice)

Mmmmmm...!!!!!!!!!!!

St John Brewers

Their homemade rootbeer with cruzin vanilla rum. This was our favorite the last time in St John.

The only rootbeer that comes close at home is the IBC rootbeer in the glass bottle.

Make mine a mojito! In a real glass (not plastic) with fresh mint.

My favorite is the BBC...it's Bailey's, Rum, Coco Lopez, and banana blended with ice. The best ones I have are at the beach bar at Caneel.

I've heard lots of people RAVE about the BBC. Supposedly the bar in Palm Passage makes some good ones, too. The ingredients sound good, but I'm not a big fan of those frosty, icy drinks. I'll have to try one, though, just to satisfy my curiosity.

I have to say of the selections of drinks on the islands my favorite has to be the Painkiller, at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke. My second favorite are the milk shakes at the Udder Delight up the hill near Megan's beach on Rt.35.
