I am not sure there is a bad one...

Does anyone know a bad beach in STJ?

There are NO Bad Beaches on St. John. Maho is a favorite, Francis Beach is kind of the "PARTY PLACE", and LEINTSER BAY is the best snorkling around, that is unless you wanna pay to get in Trunk Bay. Salt Pond is also cool for sea turtles.

HAVE FUN!

Cinnamon,
trunk:bay,
Caneel bay allows you to use their main beach or honeymoon beach depending on how full they are.
,Salt Pond,
.Maho,
get a map and ask the locals as well. Depending on where you are staying there will be more must sees. We stayed on east end of island and there are places you can just stop by side of road and go snorkeling etc,,,north shore beaches are our favorites as well as salt pond

That is exactly what I meant. If this post runs for a week I think every beach will be named.

Get yourself a copy of "Feet, Fins and Four-Wheel Drive" and go down the list. I love them all for one reason or another. Counting down to May 1.

Do not miss the snorkeling at Ditleff Point beach while it is still 'unimproved land' -- once the gates go up it will be much harder to access.

on STJ yes
well not really
Vies Beach - spelled wrong
You have to cut through a family's land/farm and they ask for a donation...

But yeah Trunk Bay is it, but the $s are in the noise

They're all great beaches, but my favorite was Trunk Bay. If you go at 4:00 you won't have to pay to get in. We went a couple of times at 4 to relax for the last couple of hours of the day. It's not that busy at that time either which is nice.
