Hey forumites.....I think I remember reading about a place in Charlotte Amalie (???) that is like a Family Fun type center with games, food, and maybe even a pool? Trying to find some alternative things for my family to do while down in STT next week.

I can't remember the name or the specifics...anyone help me out?

Holly

At Wyndham Sugar Bay a facility called Winners Mini Golf. It has a 9 hole mini golf, a bumper boat pool, indoor electronic games, snacks, cold drinks and treats. It is open to the public so you need not be guests at the resort.

I think there is a bar/gym/restaurant/pool right by the butterfly farm on the Havensight dock....maybe that's what you are thinking of?

Yes, it's Paradise Gate, and this year , in addition to the other available activities, they're hosting the VI Idol contest on some Saturday nights.

Something else in Charlotte Amalie is the African Caribbean Drumming Center on the hill behind Subway. They offer tours M-Sat, and you get to learn to play the conga drums. Something different to do for all ages, and it doesn't involve drinking 🙂

At Kilnworks they have Paint Your Own Pottery nights. Or is it days???? I know that activity is kind of popular on some cruise ships, and in some major urban areas in the States.

You can also do the mountain bike tour at Water Island.
