I recall someone recommending this sailing school not too long ago but did a search and couldn't find the thread. So, I'm looking for feedback on this sailing school. Thanks, Ali~
Ali,
I couldn't find the post again, sorry. It was off topic so doesn't show up. I asked where
to learn and Blu replied that the school was operating out of the BVI's. Tortola, I think.
Good luck.
It's base is on St. Thomas in American Yacht Harbour.
Sorry Ali,
What's the one Blu was talking about?? Promo remembers, I'll bet.
They may be affiliated with a place on Tortola. Many schools have affiliates and work with other instutiutions. Fair Wind has bases on Lake Erie and on the Chesapeake Bay that I know of.
Thanks CShell,
I was asking for my own education. Would like to take a course. Nice to know
a school is in STT. Could take a course here in Calif. but, think I'd prefer to do it
down there when the time comes.
They operate out of Red Hook (a cat. and monohull) and also Tortola (a monohull).

There are 4 of us that are going out on the bareboater course on Nov. 3rd.
We met the owner in July and he seems like a great guy. Their price is better than most.
