Good morning:

Heading over to STJ in a few minutes via ferry. What are good things to visit without taxi service and also trying to take a break from the sun/beach. Good lunch places???

Shopping in Cruz Bay is always fun (no taxi needed). There are a multitude of places to eat in CB. I like JJ's Texas Roadhouse, straight ahead after you get off the ferry. Woody's has a great happy hour, and the Beach Bar also has great food with a view of the beach there.

Lunch try Uncle Joes barb cue 2 minute walk from ferry. Or Deli grotto in Mongoose junction, 5 minute walk. sandwiches are delish and theres AC. Also many shops and bars here. About a mile from town is Honeymoon Beach or Soloman Beach there is an easy trail walk, 1/2 hour tops. Starts at the NPS visitor center. Free trail maps available here.Plenty of shade at Honeymoon (the 2nd one). Further along this trail is Caneel Bay resort where there's a beach bar and open restaurant. Both are pricey. Hope this helps.
