We are making plans for our trip back to the island next April.

We think that we would like to try out Estate Lindholm, based on all of the wonderful reviews.

Has anyone stayed in both the Garden and Harbor view rooms? It appears that the price difference for the rooms will be around $35 per nite. We will be staying 6 nites.

Are the views that much better? I have heard that some of the garden rooms actually have a water/harbor view as well.

Am leaning toward paying the little extra to have an upper floor & supposedly better view.

Any comments or suggestions (even particular room reference - would be great!

Thanx!

cj,

was checking features on vinow web page and noticed i had a private message from you in jan asking for further info on plumeria. remember i only did brief tour in 10/05, but it's very similar to cloud 9 where i have stayed twice. plumeria is second villa from paved road down a good gravel road. car will do fine (just not on some of other roads out on the southeast end past salt pond and be careful on north shore after a rain).

unless you have more than 4 adults (and perhaps a couple of kids for loft), you should be very pleased unless you don't like fantastic sunsets, the evening lighting of st thomas and the stairs above, privacy from neighbors and plenty of room to be alone or to gather with group. just be careful on evening drives home after dinner and cocktails.

enjoy,

papabou
