Greetings,
I was wondering if there is still a 50% off coupon in the Entertainment book for Secret Harbour and Point Pleasant. If anyone knows I would appreciate you feedback before I purchase a book.
Thanks,
Tamra
Hi Tamra,
I work with someone who mentioned the 50% discount. She said it is no longer in the book, but they still honor the discount. I presume you have to show the card though, which requires you purchasing the book.
However, I contacted them, and they stated that the discount for 2007 is only 25%...
where do you purchase the book? How much and are there some other significant discounts in the book? We have one night free at Secret Harbour, but we're staying 7, so that's not as good as 25%.
Just google 'entertainment book' and it will give you the link. I dont have the book yet, but I think you can buy it for 25 bucks. Using the book just for one night on the island gives you the return on that investment.
Here is the link to the hotels/condos that honor the 25% discount:

Hope this helps.

In years past, the discount % varied by time of year......in the "low" season, it was 50%, but in the "high" season, it was 25%. Maybe it is now 25% all of the time...but it is worth asking if 50% can be had in the low season.
I've used that discount to stay at Sapphire Resort on many occasions - I've paid something like $124 for the beachfront suite and $164 for the villa - off season. A real deal!
Thanks for the note Blu. You are right. I just emailed them, and they stated that the 50%low/25%high discount does apply, but that 'it varies by property and occupancy'.
My guess is that if you book long enough in advance, they will honor the 50% discount...
Good deal stltimmy.
I think I also recall that you have to pay in advance if you use this discount....not after you check out as with most hotel stays. I think I had to pay 2 nights deposit on the initial bookings and the balance was due at some point prior to my arrival.
Good luck and enjoy!
Thank you for your responses. It was very helpful. I will checking with Secret Harbour to see if they will honor the coupon. I used one over a year ago and got a 2 bedroom/bathroom oceanview condo for 150/night. It was a great deal.

I have stayed at both point pleasant and sapphire beach in July with the entertainment card 50% discount. I usually just call them and make my reservation and fax them a copy of my entertainment card. What a great deal!!!!
Tamra, did you hear from Secret Harbour regarding the coupon?
Does anyone know if any resorts on STJ take the entertainment card?
digging up this post this might be what i am looking for WHERE DO YOU GET THE CARD
Hello
You can purchase the entertainment book on-line for about $25. You chose a book that has coupons for your area. http://www.entertainment.com I believe Point Pleasant and Sapphire are listed in the book for receiving 50% - but that is during low season. You can call them and they will tell you if they honor the 50% discount. Hope that helps.

OK, I don't see St. Thomas or anywhere in the USVI's as having a book. Only San Juan. Did I miss something?
Landlockerbeachlover,
Look in your book under Hotels at Half Price and you will find Point Pleasant under Virgin Islands. It is on page E46 in my book.
Tamra
I don't have the book yet - - just trying to buy one. I'm guessing you can't buy one on-line since the website doesn't show anywhere in the VI's as having one. Oh well.
Landlockedbeachlover,
You will find the information in any of the books - just buy one for you area/city and it will be under the halfprice hotel section. When you purchase the book you will get a card and that is what you will need to show the resort upon checking in. First - you need to make sure that they will honor it for your desired dates.
Tamra
Can you still get that 50% (or 25%) discount at Secret Harbour? Does anyone know?
I called Secret Harbour yesterday, and they do not honor the card.
thanks oh well it might be worth getting though....
