*Where can I go to listen to soca, reggae, shoot pool and maybe go to a concert between April 18 - 21 in St. John and St. Thomas?
You can shoot pool at Shipwreck over by Havensight on STT. Great burgers too!
Latitude 18 on the East End has bands. Tuesday night is open mic, and sometimes some of the local artist will gather and do a adhoc jam that can be great. Of course they have a few regulars that are ok.
Wednesday nights at Fred's in Cruz Bay: Inner Visions, a real good local reggae group. First saw them there in the mid-80s. Some of the same guys are still in the band (now joined by some of their sons).
Here is a web site I found for Inner Visions schedule.

It looks like they play Freds, Maho Bay Campgrounds, The Westin and The Ritz on St. Thomas this March and April
Carnival will just be kicking in at that time. Look for the Island Trader (comes out on Thursday) for the entertainment and activities coming up.
On Saturday nights after 10 p.m. at the Offshore Bar in Havensight/Port of Sale in St Thomas, they play all the music you're interested in.
Also on Friday nights after 10 p.m. at the Greenhouse on the Waterfront, P'Your Passion plays.
Sundays starting at 2 p.m. at Sapphire, I think it's Cool Sessions who jams at the Beach Party.
Inner Vision is the best band on the island, they will be at Maho Bay on April the 10th and are usually at Freds on Wed. and Fri.
However, sometimes they do not appear, so be flexible.
Great Sound....

Is Fred's the place across the street from the Lime Inn?
Yes it is....
