I am going to pop the question to my girlfriend of 3 years while we are vacationing in the USVI. Do any of you who have been to the USVIs know of a spectacularly beautiful, quiet place to ask someone you love to agree to marry you. I am thinking of asking at night and will probably ask her to join me for dinner first at a "nice" restaurant. Any good suggestions as to where to grab a great dinner as well? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen any place in the world that can not be romantic, it's in your heart. Hell, I dragged my wife into the river here in town and popped the question. There are so many beautiful places in the islands it would be hard for me to pick. Take a map and throw a dart. Congrats!
If she likes the beach, Magens Bay is lovely in the late afternoons on a weekday. you can go for a walk down the beach while the sun is setting. Or over on St. John you have Honeymoon Beach, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon or several other lovely ones. Or you could go hiking over on St. John, and pop the question while in the forest by yourselves. Lots of great places. A great dinner on St. Thomas - Banana Tree Grill, Room with a View, Craig and Sallies...
Go to Mim's at Watergate. A great little restaurant and right on a beach that's great for walking at night!
