I will be in St Thomas for the week of Easter. I understand that the islands celebrate Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. Can anyone tell me what is open/closed during these days (ie. stores, ferry to St John, beaches, restaurants, etc.) I have already booked the trip and will make the best of it no matter what, but it would be nice to know going down there what to expect.
All of those days are local government holidays, so many government services will be curtailed. There may be a few stores closed Easter Sunday, but the biggest change you will notice is that no alcohol is sold in restaurants on Good Friday until 4 pm.

What do you want to know? Unless you are dealing with government services or buying liquor on Good Friday, there will be nothing to worry about. There may be some family-owned restaurants that are closed on Easter Sunday, but many of them are closed on Sundays in general. Beaches open and ferrries running as usual. You may see the Puerto Rican Navy around, but they tend to congregate in the BVI these days.
stores and everything will be open otherwise on good friday, easter monday? just want to make sure. can i still buy drinks at the hotel during the day on friday or is everything off limits?
No, you will not be able to buy drinks until after 4 or 4:30 (I can't remember which.) You can buy a bottle or beers at a store and drink them at your hotel during that day. Stores should be open Friday and Monday.
More specifically, will Lucy's or Beach Bar be doing their usual Sunday music?
