Good morning:

We will be visiting STT over Easter break and I saw on the calendar that Monday 4/9 is a "holiday". Are all of the shops, restaurants etc. still open?

Easter weekend from Holy Thursday through Easter Monday will be a local government holiday. No problem if you don't need government services, but beware that you will not be allowed to buy drinks on Good Friday until 4:30 pm or so.

east ender... let me get this straight im a lil confused??? are you saying you can recieve goverment services on normal non holiday business hours? lol please enlighten me

Phew! Our flight comes into STT on Saturday (day after Good Friday) just in time for a "nooner".

A "nooner" around this house is when hubby comes home for lunch! heehee.

doesn't happen as often as it used to, tho!
